Ho Chi Minh City – Binh Phuoc Expressway
The expressway of Ho Chi Minh City – Thu Dau Mot (Binh Duong) – Chon Thanh (Binh Phuoc) is expected to be about 69 km long, with a size of 6 to 8 lanes.

The Ministry of Transport assesses that this expressway is suitable for the detailed planning of Ho Chi Minh road and the planning of Vietnam’s expressway network.
Currently, the vehicle from Ho Chi Minh City passes Thu Dau Mot (Binh Duong province), along Highway 13 to Binh Phuoc province, the total distance is about 120 km. The Ho Chi Minh City – Thu Dau Mot – Chon Thanh expressway is proposed by Binh Phuoc province to increase connectivity, improve transport capacity, promote socio-economic development of the province as well as key economic regions. South point.
This expressway is expected to be deployed in the form of PPP and BOT contract, implemented before 2030, in accordance with the policy of socialization to reduce investment pressure from the state budget. However, the Ministry of Transport noted that influencing factors, such as the sharing of vehicle traffic with the existing parallel line 13, are considered.

Currently, the expressway of Ho Chi Minh City – Thu Dau Mot – Chon Thanh is being prepared by a consultant to prepare a pre-feasibility study report for submission to competent authorities for approval.
3 expressway implementation plans are studied, in which option one is the starting point at Binh Chuan (Binh Duong), the end point at Chon Thanh (Binh Phuoc) going along the route My Phuoc – Tan Van with a length of 55 km, total investment 33,000 billion.
Option 2 has the starting point at the An Phu intersection (Ho Chi Minh City), the end point in Chon Thanh, going along the provincial road 743, 745, with a total investment of about 27,500 billion VND.
Option 3 has the starting point in Binh Chuan, the end point at Chon Thanh, coinciding with the planned railway corridor of Ho Chi Minh City – Loc Ninh, with a length of 55 km, total investment of 21,600 billion VND.
